SPRING KLEIN VISION COVID-19 UPDATE FOR PATIENTS
As we all navigate the unprecedented pandemic facing our country and Harris and Montgomery counties, the doctors and staff want all patients to know that your safety and health are of the utmost importance to us. For that reason, we have chosen to significantly reduce the number of in office patient encounters for the next week.
We will be open but will have reduced staff and doctor hours. We will be open from 9am to 5pm each Monday through Thursday and from 9am to 3pm Friday. We will be closed Friday, April 10th for Good Friday.
We ask that if you are coming to the office please call ahead before walking in the front door to let us prepare for your visit and to allow us to make certain that the waiting area is not crowded. We also will be phone screening all patients to make certain they do not have a fever of any illness symptoms, that they have not been in contact with anyone who has been ill, and that they have not traveled out of the country or to the East or West coast over the last three weeks.
Also, as a reassurance to all of our patients, we have over the last two weeks been significantly increasing our sanitation practices in our office. We are washing hands before and after each patient encounter and we are cleaning exam rooms and waiting areas along with all eyeglass frames with EPA/CDC approved medical grade cleaners that kill bacteria, fungus and virus.
If you need to pick up contact lenses or glasses, please call as we are offering to ship those items at no shipping charge through the end of March.
If you have any eye emergency or urgency definitely call as we still want to see you soon. This includes any patient who needs to have a complete eye exam to update their prescriptions for contacts or glasses as well. However, if you feel that you can postpone routine and annual eye exams until a later date, please do so.
